I agree in a moral sense, but no one can go into the southern states and make them overturn Dobbs.

I don’t know if I’m right but I keep saying that JD Vance said in 2021 that they should just do what they want and if the Supreme Court rules against them challenge them to enforce their ruling.
I think they’re afraid if they don’t rule for Trump and he defies them they’ll be irrelevant .

Is that baby fundi voice she’s using?
December 6, 2025 at 8:43 PM
While I agree I also realize that you need 2/3 to actually do anything and that few people really want to believe that it could be that bad so they’ll just blame you partisan hyperbole.
December 6, 2025 at 4:53 PM
Again, once you fix something, and the majority of the people are comfortable, they stopped caring.
Now people would rather believe that these injustices don’t happen than to acknowledge that they do.
December 6, 2025 at 4:51 PM
That is true, and I agree, except for the fact that:
Civil rights: we all saw the same thing on TV… now 1/3 of the electorate would call it fake news, while another third pay no attention.
December 6, 2025 at 4:50 PM
Actually, I think that is more true of the pundits and the electorate who listened to them than it is of the party.
December 6, 2025 at 4:47 PM
In my own little social circle, I know 4 voters who did not vote in 2024 because they said they would never forgive the Democrats for what they did Biden.
Lots of people with different view on things.
December 5, 2025 at 10:40 PM
True.
Seems though that our society just went easier and easier.
December 5, 2025 at 7:07 PM
I agree yet why I think it’s so hard and frustrating is when you can show them something (like a voting record, etc.), and they just say.” I never heard that.” or.” they all do that.”….
Someone said our job now is to keep his approval ratings as low as possible .👍🏻
December 5, 2025 at 6:40 PM
I think they’re afraid if Trump defies them the next president will as well, and they become irrelevant as a third branch of government.
December 5, 2025 at 1:39 PM
I agree.
December 5, 2025 at 1:19 PM
I think it’s the lack of trust in media.
I would bet that ~ 30% feel like we do, ~ 30% approve of what Trump’s doing and ~ 30% have no idea nor do they believe that this could ever happen in America so they ignore it.
December 5, 2025 at 1:00 PM
JD Vance said in 2021 that we should defy SCOTUS because they cannot enforce their rulings.
I think that that is what they are afraid of and that if Trump does it, the next president will do it, and they will be irrelevant as a third branch of government
December 5, 2025 at 12:57 PM
Just listened to yesterday’s podcast….., Trump, “charismatic”????
REALLY????
Reminds me of when people were used to say that “Republicans masters of getting out a message”….. only to the few who are deficient enough in critical, thinking to be receptive to that message.
December 4, 2025 at 7:49 PM
Not to mention because people were too lazy to know the issues and keep the Senate in the majority in 2014. We have a supreme court who will say anything they don’t like is unconstitutional and overrule anyway.
December 4, 2025 at 5:22 PM
Only if the electorate allows them.
And text her hard now because back in the day FDR and LBJ had to count on Republican votes for Social Security, Medicare and the civil rights and voting rights act.
Since 2009 that would never happen.
December 4, 2025 at 5:21 PM
They vote for the people who will vote on the bills.
But they have to be informed… that’s the problem.
And they have to stay on the backs of the people they vote for that’s the other problem.
December 4, 2025 at 4:49 PM
That’s a nice little conspiracy theory, but I believe in the end the only entity that is responsible for wherever we are the voters.
December 4, 2025 at 4:18 PM
I would gladly vote for either one of them, even though they start to sound like my children when they were little exhibiting sibling rivalry.
It’s what I hate about politics: we worry more about this pettiness than we do about policies.
December 4, 2025 at 10:22 AM
Not if you get enough, but first people have to smarten up and I don’t see that happening for sometime.
But I’d rather have Democrats deciding what gets a vote and what judge judges get hearing then Republicans
December 3, 2025 at 11:15 PM
There are so MANY things, what specifically happened yesterday that they’re talking about???
December 3, 2025 at 9:09 PM
I want to have the majority so that we can write and pass the legislation.
December 3, 2025 at 9:04 PM
Some will.
Someone will not vote for anyone who is not AIPAC.

Republicans don’t do this.
