Why is the representative branch of government listening and taking orders from a person not even in office and another who is a foreigner with unlimited money to blackmail members? When in the entire history of the United States has a president elect directly controlled congress?

I agree with the modular thing. It’s really the main thing I miss using my Mac. But all technology is heading for one big glue blob that we can only customized at time of purchase. I’m already in that stream of upgrading phones..etc every two years anyway.

I just got a mini couple months back, angry that I should have waited and got new M4 model. The best feature for me has been iMessages on my desktop. Can’t do that on other OSes, and I’m not switching back to android. It’s an ecosystem that I’m comfortable with, although it’s getting less open.

Went through same thing with windows 7, which I still think was their best effort to date. These companies don’t really want us to have tools that we enjoy using and find greatly productive. They instead want to handle all those needs through a subscription or continuous update cycle.
