I’m trying to buy a pint in the UK. I don’t need to be educated on how to buy beer in my own country. I’ve been doing it since we worked out which pubs would serve 16 year olds.
It’s just obnoxious. Their rent is high do they want everyone to eat so make it hard just to have drink.

The one under London Waterloo station is wasn’t entirely clear how you ordered a beer. I think you had to ask a waiter but I didn’t want to eat and don’t live in America. So we went somewhere else

I remember in the early 2000s when oracle stopped supporting oracle 7 and at the same time the text/curses based version of Forms. Our users could operate their app without ever looking at the screen. They’d muscle memoried it.

When I was a kid in rural Wales in the 80s, some other kids, for a project, were going classroom to classroom doing a poll about fox hunting. Everyone in the maths class I was in, with the exception of a couple of farmer's kids, voted to ban it.
