This encounter with a man who on the face of it seemed quite reasonable , has stayed with me all these years. I’m 78 yrs old . The USA constitution is not robust enough for reasonable people to take action against a monster like Trump et al .

Merrick Garland was a pitiful attorney general , too cowardly to take any action until it was too late , then handed the job to Jack Smith who wasn’t able to complete the task.
To think that McConnell had prevented Garland getting on the Supreme Court .
