On its own it isn’t. But taken in context, it absolutely does need us to lose our collective minds over it. By “us” I mean the whole world, since I’m not even American.

They don’t care about any of that. It’s not about women’s health. It’s about forcing women to be barefoot and pregnant again. If enough girl babies are produced, there’ll be a ready supply of nubile teenagers to take the place of the older women who die.

All they are concerned about is turning women back into sandwich-making baby machines. Actual women are liable to object to that, so of course there won’t be any.

I’m sure that will be challenged and overturned, but the issue is that, even if it is, it will be ignored.

They’re concerned only because they can feel his power and influence waning. They know that when he goes, he’s taking them with him. That’s the only reason they’re scrambling to distance themselves.

For a lot of them it was the beginning. Of public support for their vices and all the things they’d do if they had his money and influence.
