🌿 Heat trials have started!

Potatoes have been planted across 90 plots at MSU's Montcalm Research Center. Heat will be applied during key growth stages, testing how the plants respond to warmer air/soil. After they've grown, we'll analyze them to learn about heat stress resilience!

An eppendorf centrifuge in that specific nicotine-yellow color from the 80s. It's the exact color as the old fridge in your garage that you keep sodas in that your parents replaced in 1997, and which has outlived a half-dozen of its replacements.
