—which nets good rewards which is nice. the main story is really good, too, while WoW's is kinda nonexistent save for quest text without voice acting. both have fun minute-to-minute gameplay. both have free trials. if you want to dip your toes in both, you'll probably find your preference ^^

i prefer FFXIV but it's largely because it tends to have a more friendly community, and a good amount of content to do at any given point. even when you reach the endgame, the early areas are lively because there's still stuff to do there—
