There are more important things that need £10bn. It seems ludicrous to accept that these women did not know about the change - those contributing to pensions would have been working, and all employers (i was one the ) were obliged to ensure their employees understood the changes coming.

What i find difficult (and somewhat distressing) to believe is that none of these women spoke up directly, straight to his face at the time, to express their disgust, as surely would be expected of at least the stronger individuals (e.g. Kirsty Wark). What am I missing?
