I wonder. In Sweden you can (and they do) look up everyone’s salary and tax data. There’s a levelling to knowing - perhaps there’s less need to show off or display

Here’s the components to the main. You can produce a restaurant quality meal, blind drunk without serving ‘lunch’ almost into Boxing Day

I made this, as one course of five, On Christmas Day! ‘Made’ doing heavy lifting here. Assembled more like. Really fun though - it’s like food LEGO. Everything in little numbered pots and vac packs.

A vote for Aardman’s chronically underrated and overlooked Arthur Christmas. James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, Bill Nighy, Jim Broadbent and Imelda Staunton!

Part of a co-pro deal with SONY. CGI but all Aardman.

Well worth a look - especially if you’ve got younger kids. I cry every watch.

Fair enough. To each their own

Can’t see the attraction of feeling like you’re flying through the most beautiful environments on earth, mastering a skill that’s as challenging as rewarding, of the zen like state of parallel turns, gracefully dropping thousand of feet, traversing kilometres round a mountain to a spectacular lunch?

So true. "A young Jedi named Darth Vader, who was a pupil of mine until he turned to evil, helped the Empire hunt down and destroy the Jedi knights. He betrayed and murdered your father. Now the Jedi are all but extinct." is all we needed. Instead we got an insufferable flashback - three movies long

I’ve yet to have a real life conversation where I speak to an intermediary and they chose which of the replies I should hear.

In real life conversations someone says something and…drumroll … I hear it.

Make me wonder if there’s a market for an update of a Yahoo! style directory of verified sites, information sources by topic. Post algorithm. Human content only.

Extremely underrated quip

Do tortured pop culture analogies on podcasts count for nothing?

Design agency owner here that’s babysat £3k+ inkjets overnight on many deadlines. Ignore unicorn inkjet fairytales. I don’t care if their eco tanks lasted ‘me a 100 years with no problem’. Buy an office laser. Probably the Verge recommendation. HP Color LaserJet Pro M255dw worth a look.
