Well, some progress will not show up on a mortality graph. Doesn't mean it's not progress. Keyhole surgery technique e.g. is a gift from heaven. Not sure it saves lives.

PM is about dismantling reductionist, positivst modernism by which the popular & the serious, the rational & the irrational etc.. can be clearly delineated. Naive, at best. PM is about uncovering ambiguity, not necessarily solving it. Populism is about simple answers to complex questions. =/=

Or to better educate the public? About the merits we no longer see for all the trees, the lack of alternatives, the limitations and costs of a democracy. Democracy is slow, expensive and it's hard work for everyone. We need constant reminders, not promises of quick fixes.

Currencies generally have no intrinsic value. They are merely a form of accounting. The question is, what is Stablecoin's USP vs that of trad banking? The answer is prob a) trading crypto and b) profiting from riskier asset side while speculating on too big to fail the cover the down side.
