You kinda just have to progressively desensitize yourself to it. you can lower the consciousness bar by having a small sketchbook you draw in outside the house, find groups who are also drawing in public, or going to places like a cafe where other people are working. I always have a sketchbook on me

my husband and I took markers to a sex club once and I wrote demeaning stuff on him, but it was illegible in the lighting and we didn’t try again lol. I did have friends do watercolors on me once tho.

Graffiti is awesome. I like both the funny/sincere word art people do and the like visual art. There’s a graffiti artist called Toofus I met at a different karaoke bar and I get so excited when I see his sign around town.
