A Rochester man pleaded guilty to 2 of the 29 charges relating to wire fraud & money laundering. Brava Restaurant in Rochester received $4.3M in funds for a children's food program.

The funds were instead spent on personal expenses, like MN homes, vehicles and property in Turkey.

According to the lawsuit alleging medical malpractice and negligent nondisclosure, the 13-year-old girl "walked into Mayo Clinic but rolled out in a wheelchair, paralyzed from the waist down" after a three-stage surgery in February 2024.

Olivia Flores' parents filed a federal lawsuit against former MSP trooper Shane Roper.

The lawsuit highlighted details of Roper's pre- and post-collision behavior. After the fatal crash on May 18, his BWC footage captured him saying:

A 13-year-old girl was reportedly walking on a highway.

She had been abducted by two men around 5:30 a.m. Saturday. They pushed her out of a moving vehicle eight hours later.

After the judge sentenced Johnston, his girlfriend yelled, "I love you, babe. You don't deserve this. F*** these people."

When the judge told her she was in direct contempt of court and would go to jail for 30 days, she said, "F*** you, b****."

Johnston was sentenced to over 4 years in prison.

Officers monitoring Jenup Chop's jail communications heard him singing lines from a handwritten note, including:
"I ain't sorry for none of them [expletive]
What they did made me pull that trigger"

The investigation into last night's shooting is open & active as police continue to look for suspects involved.

In last night's release, Rochester PD said the incident did not "appear to be random."

This marks the 4th homicide investigation in Rochester this year.

BREAKING: Rochester police responded to reports of a shooting in SE Rochester tonight.

A man was pronounced dead on the scene.

RPD said this is an active homicide investigation.
