Wow. Pretty sure I spent quite a few late nights there around that time.

I suppose that's "throwing shade" 1942 style.

Gosh, I hope the kangaroo is alright. Doesn't look very happy, poor thing.

Lovely how the writer also did not split the infinitive.

It gives you access to what you've already paid for. I tried cancelling it and then realized that all the films I had bought I could no longer access on any device. Just my pc. After 20 minutes of panic, I resubscribed. If you've invested in a lot of films, they really have you by the short hairs. 🫤

I LOVE that film.

Gary Larson had it right, I think:

Wow, very interesting. Am vaguely aware of her name, but avoided all the Andy Hardys, so not certain I've ever seen her. Feel kinda sad for her. Sounds like she underutilized her talent as a cellist. Will have to do a little more research into her life. Thanks for the tip!

Oh, definitely want to pick one up.

Oh nice kitty! Must revisit this one.

I’ve always loved the sheep resting their chins on each other’s backsides. Well observed animal behavior. Merry Christmas. 🎄

Wow! Was not aware of this villa. Will have to make a special trip down to see it. Thank you so much for posting!

Thanks very much for the images. For me, she was the saddest loss for the year. Now nearly all my favorites are gone.

Trying to place the Eleanor Parker film. Pride of the Marines? The Very Thought of You? Put me out of my misery, please.

Initially had it on mute because I didn't want any barking to upset my napping kitties; but then I had to listen a little and realized this pup is the absolute best communicator in the world. Hope she has a much better walk with lots of sticks tomorrow.

Interesting to see which bike he is using, though.

Is that really Wade Wallace suggesting this? Mr. "Pay a very large subscription fee to get real reporting"? I gave up on EC because it was too poorly written and overly self-congratulatory. But this makes no sense to me. Wasn't AI-generated crap what EC was supposed to oppose?

Thanks Will for keeping track of this story. If Netflix does end up owning TCM, could there be the silver lining of international access to TCM? As a longtime TCM viewer who now lives in Europe and subscribes to, but never uses, Netflix, maybe they'll clear rights for international viewers. Maybe?

Wow. Imagine.

Yes, I realized that after posting. Apologies. But I still insist on fighting the good fight against split infinitives. They are the thin edge of the grammatical wedge. Next thing we know is you’ll be “sat” somewhere instead of “sitting” 🙈

Oh so nice. First time I’ve seen them together. So sweet.

Can we pay to go on the trip (from Switzerland)?

At lunchtime?
