Here's what the Area2D are looking like, the neat thing is that their scale are customizable !

I used to manually detect the input by calculating the pos of the mouse like a madman before I figured out that my Area2Ds weren't working because Control nodes capture your input

Also funny side effect, I'm starting a mandarin class next winter and the game honestly hypes me up even more, I kinda want to be able to understand without subtitles

Yeah I understand it's mostly a QoL feature since it doesn't solve anything too important memory wise unless you instantiate a lot of classes

I was just surprised since most of the languages I used usually support it

But in my case, classes should do just fine !

There seems to be a proposal made by Godot's lead dev, but can't see any PRs addressing it yet except for a proof of concept 🥲
