Still wonder what happened to Mariah. The head of rock hall is very supporting of her, and probably did lots of work to gather voters behind of the scene, and last year even cleared the line for Mariah with almost no competition... Still missed

I still feel Zevon as Influence is ridiculous. He should be Musicial Excellence if he must be inducted as side category... Salt n pepa makes somewhat sense as Influence but can not understand Zevon's case

So, in your opinion, at what level is an artist truly worthy of induction, at what level is it more of a "could go either way," and at what level should they not be inducted at all?

Oasis had concerts in Australia in Nov 7 and 8, don't know if this is the reason Oasis are snubbed again, they can not appear.

Zevon and Salt N pepa are very very deserving, but it is disrespectful. If rock hall just wants to put them regardless, why even needs the whole voting process. Just decided by nom com is enough

Fan vote winners were always classic rock acts or popular music stars, dmb and phish were only two exceptions (jam band), and not surprised they both struggle for first time

Should be noted that Alan Light just said Cyndi was better candidate than b52, and did not compare with other new wave/alternative acts. Cyndi was not nominated as pop star, she was nominated as "female rocker" (she was in rotation with Pat B, Nicks... based on Alan Light's statement)
