When everyone will have moved on from this ridiculous framing, the main German broadcasters like @zdfde.bsky.social will be the last ones to speak of "military approach against Hamas". And still 80% are opposed to it. Because most people have smartphones
80 Prozent gegen "Israels militärisches Vorgehen gegen die Hamas"! Man kann sich nur vorstellen, wie die Zahlen ausfallen würden, wenn das Framing etwa die Menschen vor Ort in den Mittelpunkt stellen würde.

Insights from @geomblog.bsky.social on recent (lack of) AI legislation. Dr. Venkatasubramanian *deeply* understands the complex interplay of ethics, regulation, and technology, having worked in government and in academia on precisely these issues. I trust his views more than most.
There's a lot of chatter around the proposal being inserted into a budget bill that would put a moratorium on any AI legislation being passed by the states for the next 10 years. I thought I'd say a bit about why this is an absolutely disastrous move.

"He lets that sit for a minute. Then he puts a cap on that insight, sounding less like a CEO than a life coach."

One of the worst things we got in the #tech world is this illusion of founders/executives as life coaches/visionaries!

Even when they realize the value of humans, they avoid hiring people or investing in building a team.

Tech executives want AI or gig work 🤷‍♀️!
