Making this a VN would be perfect because I could dive into every possible outcome. Is MC brutally honest? Politely honest? Do they come up with excuses for why they can’t meet up? Do they do something outrageous like manipulating their partner and best friend into splitting up?

Idea: MC’s partner introduces them to their lifelong best friend, and MC hates them. Not for jealousy reasons. Not even for moral reasons. They just seemed designed by the gods to push MC’s buttons specifically. Yet, their partner is really into the idea of the two of them becoming friends.

My other idea is Beauty and the Beast, but Beauty is obsessed with the supernatural and only seems into Beast BECAUSE they’re a Beast. Beast is terrified they’ll leave them the second they find out they’re just a boring old human.

The point and click version would have you play as Cinderella trying to escape. The first puzzle would be to get her to admit she even wants to escape. After all, the Prince’s treatment still isn’t as bad as what her stepfamily subjected her to.

Basically, the Prince from Cinderella is either a yandere or more realistically abusive, but no one believes Cinderella when she tries to tell them. He’s Prince Clement the Kind and Generous, and he would never do such a thing!!!

One pitfall you can fall into with an ensemble cast is, these are all great characters individually, but you never took into account how they interact with each other. And that part ends up being very boring.
