I think an interesting story prompt would be a romance novel written within the world of an overtly "battle-shonen" super powered combat type story and see glimpses of that narrative as the C-plot background throughout the slice of life A-plot and B-plot

I'm tired of #artist and #writers researching horrific genocides, poring over the most egregious events in human history, but skimp on researching how to write or draw non-white people. It's not hard.

Part of Buffy the vampire slayer's charm was the humor in the subversion of the hunter trope. The juxtaposition of a tiny cute blonde going up against these monsters instead some hardened man. Now that every YA-for-adults book has that "buffy" type of protagonist, they're a dime a a dozen and bland.

I don't know much about #politics, but last year, eggs where I live went from six bucks down to four, and now they're nine bucks so . . .
