I love everything Colleen Clinkenbeard does. Luffy, Hawkeye, Gohan and Goku... She's just great in everything, from goofy shonen heroes to more complicated characters like Akito. This may be controversial, but her Luffy's "I'm gonna kick your ass" hits harder for me than Hank Hill's lol.

Casey Mongillo's Shinji Ikari is one of the most layered performances in anime dubs. They've talked about how they pulled from a very real place, and I 100% believe it. The sheer existential horror they put into their EoE screams pierced deep into my soul.

The late Chris Ayres as Freeza gave one of the few Dragon Ball performances that IMO is every bit as good as the Japanese. Don't get me wrong, the whole dub cast is fantastic these days, but Chris was on a whole other level. What a powerhouse of a talent.

I've always wanted to do it (and a lot of those feelings are cropping up again with this development) but I'm a cis straight dude so it's not my story to tell

I'm pretty upset by it because this show is one of my all-time favorites and I've been wanting a dub for years

I'm one of those fans, and I'm so deeply disappointed
