Recently I've woken up to the reality that there are people checking in on me and wanting to interact. Just the fact that they want to include me in their plans. Even If I am not able to always join them, just the act of asking me - I don't feel as alone.

I'd like to find a word for this, but It feels like I have a need, a strong need, to always cut contact or push someone away once they've gotten closer to me - I've done this repeatedly with past friendships. Recent ones more so.
