This is a good editor but i use Zed for everything in C++ and RUST. That us enough and nit fond if using multiple editors but good to know this.

Thats so cool. I havent used the protein modelling as i am not a protein modeler but i train language models using Keras and PyTorch and XgBoost. So i am more on the dna and rna sequence side rather than structure modeling. Two different areas of research.

i didn’t know that. I have no discord or any other account. My apple account restored yesterday and started using that but didn’t even installed twitter back as already closed that. I am totally enjoying all on BlueSky, no garbage and allows you to just do and interact for what needs to be done.

My go to editor for Python and R. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndq2... if you haven’t used then just use. No extra extensions needed, it comes with all extensions you need for Python and R. I don’t use R studio anymore. Rust and c++ Zed.

I enjoy bioinformatics, algorithmic research, data analysis, HPC management but not computer security and networking. Hence i will not apply to the Computer scientist one.

@kjschmid.bsky.social thank you for this job offer but i think that i will not apply and the reason being i don’t have any knowledge in networking of clusters and security of computing clusters. That is a totally different area and never ever i thought of doing that.

In addition, Hiring a bioinformatician should be :1. Have a well maintained Github repository, 2. Have knowledge of either C++ or Rust and Python or R for data analysis. Not just only do bash. Fluent in learning new development. 3. Self motivated 4. Think ahead what is emerging.

This book is freely available and this us so good. I previously coded bloom filter but havent wrote them recently but this is beyond that telling how to use that for everything including HPC and cloud computing and going to write them later on.

😆 i am not a lion but got rejection from Netherlands, 🇳🇱, Czech Republic 🇨🇿, and Denmark 🇩🇰 but thats ok, they have to select who they want. I am open to all job offers and will take immediately the job offer where they select me.

I have used this. Also use Ferron to host the data. That us very good. I am developing a new HPC application , just a small application for those who are new to HPC and to bring the HPC coding back for my new job offer. Thank you so much for posting this.
