Exactly. If we get the Phils/Dodgers in the NLDS it will have the same vibes as Padres/Dodgers NLDS last year where you expect the winner of that to probably take it all.

They also have a rotation that’s 6 guys deep: Yamamoto, Snell, Glasnow, Kershaw, Ohtani, Sheehan. When it comes to October why not piggy-back them instead of tossing the game over to the bullpen? And maaaaaaybe throw Sasaki in the mix?

Why haven’t the dodgers signed DJ LeMahieu? They would only have to pay him league minimum, and he would provide league average defense and offense while Muncy is out. And league average offense would be more than welcome in this currently super slumping lineup.

Why would they build him up as an opener instead of a reliever? If he opens doesn’t that mean he can’t hit? But if he started at DH couldn’t he come in to pitch later in the game?

Do wRC+ splits compare against all of the rest of the league or the rest of the league’s split? I.e. is Paul Goldschmidt 234% better than the rest of the league is against LHP, or 234% better than the rest of the league period when he’s facing LHP?
