Our #Spica app is featured in #Nature’s npj Parkinson’s Disease.

In a great collaboration with Charité, our platform was used to collect #EMA data, demonstrating how #aDBS can enhance real-world outcomes for people with #ParkinsonsDisease.

🚀 Starting Jan 2025, Virgobit partners with Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin to launch a serverless mobile app for #dystonia research. It enables scheduled EMA questionnaires, video/audio recordings, and structured local storage with flexible settings (days, text size, 3 languages).

We are currently using Polar360 bands for several remote data collection projects. When used with our Spica platform, you can record from them in parallel with other biosensors (e.g., EEG, ECG) and behavioral tasks, all within the same mobile app.

Finally, it's official 📢 🎉!

@virgobit.bsky.social will receive funding from the BMBF (Germany) for a joint project with Münster University, Osnabrück University, and HAW-Hamburg.
