Resident doctors are betraying the NHS because of greed. A reasonable approach is needed.

‘Public Record’ at the Fire Station last night was brilliant. Hardly a dry eye in the house. Thought-provoking and moving in equal measures. Well done to all concerned.

It is an act of vandalism by the Welsh Examination Board to remove ‘Of Mice and Men’ from its GCSE syllabus. Reasons given refer to inappropriate racism and sexism. They miss the point. Teachers teach this work of art and use it to open understanding in young minds.

Evidence would seem to suggest that the reintroduction of Sure Start would go some way to addressing social inequalities.

Listening to the Assisted Dying Bill debate makes me proud of our democracy, and our ability to set political differences aside.

I hope our present leaders fully understand how important it is to address care issues across the length and breadth of this country. Only then will we be able to fully address the issues crippling the NHS.

Worth remembering that only 3-4% of migrants to the UK are illegal migrants.

If Physician Associates are not qualified doctors then they should be limited in their dealings with patients. There needs to be built in safeguarding to ensure patients are protected from mistakes.

Well done Victoria Derbyshire for maintaining your dignity and professionalism in the face of Jeremy Clarkson’s crass rudeness.
