One minor detail I kind of love about My Hero X is how it implies THE Johnies' reputation soared after it became public that Big Johnny had a rage monster form. Since IRL there's obviously such a wide appeal to a non-edgy hero who has a rage monster form, see Hulk and numerous Shonen protagonists.

Yuko kind of proves that a devil can just willingly give a human their powers even without a contract. Also I was going to predict a side effect of this would be that Denji would be stuck in that form but lets be real having to draw this every chapter would be to stressful for Fujimoto lol

An interesting comparison is Amazon's The Boys which also aims for like a mixture of provocative, edgy, & based but despite being aimed at an older audience has never featured anything as acidic as this despite having an entire storyline focused on US Interventionism.

I just say that I think its still very interesting that it took that scene for many fans (myself incld.) to finally realize that Yoru was like devil hitler evil and not Power the Blood Fiend evil. Considering her very upfront gleefully disregard for human life and other people's bodily autonomy

My favorite head canon is that she actually stole her whole esoteric unreadable demeanor thing from her elder sister but while Makima puts a lot of care into her appearance and how she comes off, her sis's unreadableness stems from genuinely not giving a fuck abt how silly she looks or her own vibe
