~ honestly, love it! the fl is very relatable, as a super introvert girly myself. the art is adorable and all the characters were loveable. it's about youth, friendship and romance.
will read the prequel later sometime.

~ overrated, misogynist & classist. the protagonist had potential but lacked depth. the villain is a slave girl who is being played by the other male characters but she is the only bad guy?? the protagonist also befriends a slave owner?!

i liked it, especially the villain mother's arc. but i'm not interested in reading the second book in the series. (not now at least)

~ a palace nurse tries to solve a murder mystery to prove her teacher's innocence... but she suspects the crown prince might be involved. perfectly put together. written with precision.

~ is mid compared to the first book in the series. The ending especially (not cause it was sad but it def lacking something) didn't live up to my expectations. Istg it could've been so much better if not for the ending (I'm talking about crow's pov).

~ is the first book in The Kingdom of Three duology - a retelling of the Xin Dynasty. It was good, exciting, tense and mysterious. As I reached the ending it left me wanting more.
Enemies to lovers but 75% Enemies - 25% lovers

I'm rating it a 4.25. If you want to read a gothic-sapphic book (romance is barely there tho) with cannibalism as a trope, then here it is. TW: gore, too much details about crushing an eyeball.

I'm rating it 3.75 star out of 5. 1800s, New York, Irish Mythology. It was good but the ending could have been better. I really hope there will be a book 2 which will explain the fmc's character better.

It was a 3 star read for me. I liked it but the plot felt unoriginal. Finished reading it in a few hours. A silly school romance between two people hiding their bi+ch face behind a pretty mask.
