I’m not a lawyer, but if the SC lets him pardon her, I wonder if that could benefit him somehow in his state cases?

The Founders never imagined voters would elect a malignant narcissist and convicted felon with a life long record of criminality. The Constitution was not designed to account for that scenario, and we now know it needs updating.

The authorities in Australia have pledged to do everything necessary to make sure this doesn’t happen there again.
In the US we get thoughts and prayers and the NRA gets pledges that nothing will change.

Maybe ICE receives some sort of compensation for each body they drag to a detention facility, whether they are later deported or not.

If he can be proven to have committed crimes associated with Epstein and or the files, and the SC does not carve out an exception for him, then yes.

In my experience, this is one of the most difficult problems to solve for natural resource managers, especially in small communities where enforcement personnel may be related to fishers.

So, USCG shoots the outboard motors, stopping the boat if they refuse to stop, and then inspects the cargo and documents. Why can’t the Navy do the same? We detain suspected criminals, not murder them.
