Who says a democrat? It may be a completely different dictator as now the genie has escaped the bottle all bets on democracy are off. America is at the start of a civil war and dictatorship. I think a military junta would be my bet. Especially if Trump continues to disrespect the military.

While not a fan of conspiracy theories I will
propose that the fossil fuel industry will enable terrorist acts to take out some wind and solar farms. It will seem either accidental or a deliberate act. They still have billions to make.

Because heaven forbid that America holds its own political criminals to account. There is still money to be made. The world is watching with popcorn as it hasn’t gone anywhere bad enough to match what America has done to other countries yet.

I have to agree, I really appreciate the work Stranger does, as the ducking, diving and weaving displayed by the witnesses to not answer and be accountable is intolerable and the reason why we need people like Stranger to highlight the behaviour.

Who are these toadies with their smug smiles and patronising attitudes. She’s a public servant working for the public with a well paid salary. She is accountable and needs to come prepared. If she can’t she needs to be fired. Simple!

So has she supplied details of any speakers, leaders, that raise awareness of Islamophobia and who also may have made comments against Jews or Israel? I guarantee she would not endorse them or attend a speech. She seems to be the type to promote do as I say, not as I do mentality

The Black Summer bushfires cost Australians over $50 billion.

As we enter another high-risk bushfire season, we shouldn't wait for the next disaster to act.

The Government could put a climate disaster levy on gas & coal exports to help pay for the damage.

Add your name: theaus.in/fossilfuelco...
Make fossil fuel exporters pay for the damage they are causing, not ordinary Australians
Climate change is making natural disasters like fires, floods, heatwaves and drought worse, costing Australians billions every year. Make fossil fuel producers pay a climate disaster levy to help pay...

This is really important. The duopoly is trying to shut down honest and transparent government. Too many decisions are being made that don’t follow process and they want to hinder scrutiny. Politicians are using the we know what’s best (or what’s bad) for you and no discussion

Great to see our research being used in Parliament!

Australia Institute research shows that the proposed changes to Freedom of Information laws would make a repeat of the Robodebt coverup more likely, not less.

After claiming Commr Brereton rarely provides advice to IGADF, NACC CEO Philip Reed then says it’s going to “take some time” for Brereton to advise him on how many times he’s provided advice.
Shoebridge “Bcoz there’s so much advice?”
“Those things don’t sit together Mr Reed”💥🙄 #Estimates

Is it the usual suspects who have pressured somebody to make the withdrawal. So we can only assume now that the press club is compromised and biased in their view and is this encouraged by the association to member journalists?

If anyone writes in to defend Israel’s actions with a but but but … we certainly know where you sit on the human rights continuum. The thing that is concerning is Palestinians are treated even worse.

Proposed changes to Australia’s FOI laws would make a repeat of the disastrous Robodebt coverup more likely, rather than less, our new research shows.

The PM described Robodebt as a “gross betrayal and human tragedy”, yet his government plans to make cabinet documents harder to access. #auspol

I don’t see why the Australian Labor government can’t just treat online sports gambling advertising like tobacco advertising aren’t just ban it entirely.

So while low level PS are held to the letter of the law (also processes and procedures that are not lawful) by those above them, those same senior PS believe this doesn’t apply to them as they should not be held to account.

Gosh how is it that Vic Police so closely policed the Nazi march yesterday except for the bit where the Nazis beat up unsuspecting Indigenous people? For that bit the police managed to turn up only after it was over and arrested no-one. Curious.

In contrast America can’t organise a general strike at the loss of their democracy in their own country. When it comes to balls we know who has them. The majority of Americans can only work at an individual level of what is best for me and ignore their fellow man in their quest to step over someone.

The Hastie chryon is still running on ABC News, three days after it happened.

This is an irrelevant nobody in a minor and irrelevant party.

This is not balance, it’s product placement.
