Ultra-processed Warrior
@oneordinarydad.bsky.social
Trying to help the gang eat cleaner to live better. Not veggie or vegan, just cleaner.
I got as far as spiritual growth and thought nope, I would rather eat clean.

This is very true. I hope you have the support you need through this key phase in a woman’s life.

Have you tried cleaning up your diet? I’m not suggesting you eat loads of rubbish but if you do tend to consume a lot of ultra processed stuff, may folk claim great skin response to getting back to basics.

Growing up one house in our estate had patio doors, naturally that posh family were avoided, seems like it was a sound safety move now.

It’s a shame that we all see food like Maccys and KFC as a treat - yet we would not see smoking or high risk behaviours as a treat. I know poor food is a slower issue but one day it will be clear just how bad these “treats” really are. Sorry

Restoring the natural order is a huge step toward overall balanced living. It’s hard to live clean and eat clean but what we lack in healthy food we could make up for with a healthy environment including Bears, wolves, moose /elk and in our waters Octopus and Shark, not all futures are bleak.

Such a versatile food, shame we don’t value the producer (hens) more - caged and forced oragins are genuinely heartbreaking.

On that case ignore me and eat an ultra processed burger - we are going to be here for a while so might as well indulge in as many unhealthy behaviours as we can .

If anything, this sounds like a Lowe estimate - I would suggest $180-$300 very believable.

Or McDonalds, Siemens, Disney, watch F1, Capital 1, NASA; the truth is people will pay for best services and AWS provides that to many. Likewise many retailers would not reach folk the other side of the US without the likes of Amazon providing a vehicle .

Maybe it means fry it in this ? Can’t make it any less healthy so why not go all in I suppose?

I hope they are taking a multi - vitamin or occasional fruit and veg? A little goes a long way in preserving health.

There is a higher proportion of fibre in the stalk so well worth all these great ideas. Personally I dice small, fry with mushroom and form a base for a nutritious gravy for the main meal.

Same here , after a life of risks and adventures it was putting a baby seat in the car that did for my back, three years on and it’s not fully recovered - surgeon said “it’s part of getting old”

Yes I’ve made lots of Kefir with both raw and pasteurised milks and find the later leads to a creamier product. Now I only use Pasteurised for Kefir and put Raw in coffee - which actually negates the risk as it’s boiling water sort of.

100% agree . Mid life boredom comes alive with the gamble of raw milk, it’s about as exciting as life gets when you live the gut health revolution.
October 27, 2025 at 5:37 PM
Many folk still buy raw milk - it’s recommended 3 day shelf life but does still cream up like it used to. Much debate on the pros and cons.

Sometimes you read a fess that you wish was true , but folk can try this and make it so. You might be surprised how long food hangs about in your body.

Food, it’s only ever food; when the cat gets fat you a) change the food or b) send them to the gym? Good numbers on HR though, well done.

There is so much to unpack here
October 5, 2025 at 7:59 PM
To think I just want you to eat more vegetables - some folk have a much harder challenge. (Fruit and plain meat choices are ok too)
