The band was a large part of my youth, as it was for many others.
Now that royalties will no longer be paid to that molesting monster I won't feel bad about pressing play again.
This is my opinion as someone who was assaulted as a teenager, and is experiencing multiple signs of child abuse too.

I too grew up in a quick to anger, very loud and traumatic household.
It took some time, but now I use breathing exercises and force myself to take a moment whenever I'm feeling pent up, and I cannot remember the last time I "lost it".
Parents can be the best reminder we need to be better people.
