I agree these are not Christian actions, but I don't see that the crimes, however how heinous, excludes them from being Christians. God is the ultimate judge in this case, and no one knows the mind of God. But "Christian" as a commonly used word is generally a brand that a person assumes.

You can't distinguish Christians this way. They all sin. They all stray from the teachings of Christ. Although, they all claim some connection to Christ, some disavow the others. It's a loosely defined group.
