Funnily enough, my mother use to asked me that quite often.
Now she sees the state of the world and is like "you know what, it's ok if you don't have children". So yay.

There's no ethic in AI, just greed honestly. The author doesn't want to pay an artist to make illustrations so they just use AI, they don't care.
