I think most cybersecurity professionals would be alarmed by how often telecom companies cover up breaches. One of my customers created fraudulent documents claiming a clean bill of health. Another customer closed every incident as a false positive unless it was a single specific file hash.

Various agencies are in possession of lists of confirmed or potential victims, but it’s not clear if the tallies are consistent. CISA, for instance, has a list of both telecom and IT companies, but an FBI tabulation shows different entities.

Solar wind data look like there may be a chance for mid-latitude aurora viewers in Europe to get a glimpse of something on the northern horizon. High-latitudes should have a better shot. Check out my webcam page for a list of cameras to watch: theauroraguy.com/pages/webcams
