An eldritch horror take on the Arcane Herald, heavily inspired by the Moder from The Ritual (2017). Their are on all fours, long limbs and hands with the swirled musculature of the original Arcane Herald. Spikes embedded into their spine are held in by bolts and scars extend out from them. They have an additional set of arms attached to their head like antlers, holding up the Hexcore. Another set extends from their face. They have long hair that extends to their bent elbow. A glowing ring of runes circles their head and their eye glows amber from a recess in their face. The colors are inspired by the Arcane Herald, purples and gold detailing with dark brown hair and blonde tips.

“They could’ve made things to replace the workers but instead, they created things to support them” is so good and aids so much to their characters

For all the questionable ethics they had, they’re goal to help people always reigned true, it was put to question many times but you can feel they care

It more so aids in understanding how different people from different backgrounds, social class, experiences, etc. interpret him as a character

For me, reasons for certain interpretations are obvious but like I’m literally studying film and history, I’m taught to find these correlations

But to treat Jayce as unkind is unkind in itself to not just his character, but who he represents

He is fictional, he does not have feelings, but the people who interpret him and attach to him do

However, all this to say that I still welcome all these interpretations because of the spectrum

I understand that it’s often used as a motive to move a story along, and yeah he does often acknowledge and apologise in these fics

But yeah I agree there is often interpretations of Jayce’s ignorance and arrogance that’s particularly unfavourable to us

I agree that he goes to smithing as a monotonous task when he needs to think! I think it’s clear in the show that it’s what he does especially when he’s facing a moral dilemma

I think it’s also because there is no weighing pressure for him to be there anymore, it’s a place that doesn’t cause stress

Back to the scene, he bleeds and hesitates and we get a match shot at the end of him and Viktor as if he is looking directly at Viktor in making his final decision

It’s practically written out for the audience that this was a difficult decision for him, perhaps even the most difficult

In the show we literally see him fighting between morals when making the weapons

Fire is the reoccurring motif that signifies his internal struggles mostly about hextech and Viktor, we only see Jayce around fire when he is facing a moral dilemma
