Ah, I thought it was a Julius Caesar assassination reference. Caesar turned down the crown when the citizens of Rome booed him and still got stabbed to death by the Senate. Trump was dumb enough to take the crown and guess who he's going to have to address at the State of the Union next year?

Somebody once mentioned that looking for a recipe on a webpage made her sympathize with Edward Elric when he had to dig through Dr. Marcoh's faux cookbook for his notes on the Philosopher's Stone. I think about it all the time and now applaud Marcoh for his deviousness

A Drop of Corruption by Robert Jackson Bennett.

It's a good murder mystery on its own, but what pushes it into the recommendation category is the Roman Empire expy taking the role of the world governments in Pacific Rim in the background.
