i know its more beginner friendly this way, but i like that splatoon is a little harder to get into because of things like no health bars. it feels rewarding to take the time to play and get good at it... ;;

i agree, it feels less like "splatoon". i loved the feeling of intuitively knowing how low an enemy was based on how many shots i hit them with depending on the weapon used. it felt like my hours invested in the game were being paid off with the knowledge of gameplay elements like this one
