I didn't know I was ADHD until a couple years ago, but I have known for literally decades that I had a high IQ.
The big question/problem with giftedness is expecting it to be an unstoppable superpower. Which is completely unrealistic—there's a yin and yang to everything.

It *isn't* a bad thing! But it can be a huge struggle when I and others expect me to basically not be me.

Generally I don't read comments from trolls. Stumbled on a couple threads recently with comments from astoundingly ignorant individuals irrationally amazed by their hero. Which reminded me why I must continue to avoid this garbage. Makes me lose faith in a huge chunk of humanity.

I hope small branches and downed lines are the worst of it. I only saw small debris where I was, but it was so intense I expected worse.
