From my opinion as a very left of center person living in a very red area, there are a ton of genuinely irredeemable racists but what people don’t appreciate is how much just general inertia there is. People vote for Republicans because that’s what they and their families do.

My hope is the general laziness of the Sask Party will work in our favor. Moe and his crew seem focused on shifting taxpayer dollars to their private pals, and they don't seem all that interested in much else. That's bad in many ways, and good in some. Sask desperately needs a good government.

The people who voted for Trump were bamboozled, or simply weren't smart enough to understand that Trump was going to do a lot of batshit crazy stuff and Musk was going to be given a lot of power. I'm not surprised by any of it, we knew Trump would be chaotic and we knew Musk would be terrible.

Anyone who voted for Trump doesn't get to hide behind 'that's not what I voted for'. They voted for chaos and they're getting it. Expect it to get worse.

That's a big part of it, a lack of proper education. Poorly educated people are easy to manipulate and fall victim to conspiracy theories. They don't understand the world and how it is changing, and that terrifies them. Trump tells them he can fix it, that he can make it like it was, make it better.

Heh, yeah, prices will go up for Trump's term, then when the Democrats restore sanity and good policy prices will start to come back down.
