I don't think people who don't have disabled children really understand that there is no such thing as a moment's rest. It's nearly midnight & I will be up another hour or two before my kid can calm down enough to sleep. & then I will get up at 6 & go to work. #autism #disability #singlemom #tired

No sunset photos anymore. I've moved to a job in the flats. But we did have this lovely moment today as the Hughes fire, which is more than 70km away, got blown in our general direction. I really feel like the trash truck driving by adds a nice touch to the horror. #hughesfire #socal #venturacounty

Probably the only post IG has ever recommended that makes sense. :D If I ever get my own desk at work, this would make a great decoration for it. Maybe I'll just print it out and hang in on my fridge.

Sunset in the quasi-city. I mean, we aren't a city, but we aren't a suburb either. And we are too big to be a town. What's between town and city that isn't a 'burb? And don't say "mid-size city" because that's lame. 😆
