We (general) forgot that we were supposed to heal. But as mentioned before, we're bombarded with stimulants so much so the substance became normal. Just a thought.

There is so much nuance to this. And many of the nuances have been mentioned. My 2 cents is that some started (drinking/smoking) to be part of something, some to quiet a noise ringing from the within. What started as controlled became self medication and we've forgotten it was to be temporary.

This... a piece of nuance that isn't talked about. And is also how I've felt and currently how I feel. I set the intention to stop using substances (weed and alcohol) since I wasn't doing a very good job of limiting them to once a week.

Its been 3 whole days and only I want to stop overthinking.
