this is addressed in the article, but put another way, this is more of a concern than e.g. bookmarks because it locks content rather than metadata

wrote this like a year or two before atproto, wasn't skilled enough yet to actually make it happen, I was trying to make like proto-atproto over xmpp😭

funnily enough I had a pretty similar idea for a client like this that could access all (or as much of) atproto as possible, in the style of wiki.c2.com
