I concluded around 1975 that the majority of Americans are fascist. I puzzled for 40 of those years how they managed not to suspect it of themselves or even notice. (Turns out the main reason, nobody including the D's told them.)

The Journal class is coming back around to a capitalist principal. Keep the government out of direct involvement in corporate deals. Too late. We will have State Capitalism now.

Giving power to a non human agent to effect some physical task fascinates people and gives an illusion of power. In fact it dis-empowers. Self driving doesn't give you power, it takes power from you.
