i should make a proper post about this line sometime but avatar joujo girls was like a spin-off line of the main joujo doll line in south korea started some time in the mid 2000s (2004-2005 based on body mold dates) which had a corresponding website. they had a lot of additional fashion

finished rerooting my avatar joujo girl :) i also thatched the part for the first time in a reroot and it went pretty well i think! her factory rooting pattern was whack so i may have to go back in & add more plugs at spots but overall very pleased

yay finished big jenny's corset!! not perfect (ended up ever so slightly too big the back is quite cinched haha) but pretty happy still :) drafted from an 1890s corset from stays & corsets by mandy barrington. the front busk is functional & it has actual boning channels

horrible late night photos but doll corset coming along well... have to finish the edges & insert the eyelets still. it has actual boning which was just cut from some plastic strip ties i got from a package lol. and yes the front busk opens and functions--

finished sewing big jenny turn of the century style combinations :) i drafted it all myself & kind of winged it based on vague instructions from like 1902 so i am very happy with the outcome!! on to the other outfit layers

honestly evil sphene 2 should have stayed around way longer in the patches. 1. more toxic yuri 2. would have imo made real sphene's character arc more interesting 3. kept exploring the themes of 'trapped by femininity' sphene had. but instead we got calyx who i literally do not care about <3
