I’m actually interested in this but can’t get past the ridiculous adverts….

I love the bit by the football grounds. Still proper Victorian isn’t it?

Think This Town is about Birkenhead? 😉
February 4, 2025 at 9:54 PM
Ha Ha. See the price now? £3.25. That’s some inflation. Unless you’re the oldest man in Britain? 😉
February 4, 2025 at 9:40 PM
Oh yes. And to celebrate the delicacy…..

Never knew that mate. I love it you know. Great place
February 4, 2025 at 9:37 PM
Mentally I’m very often here. I’m physically here this evening as well. With a clue to the City in my hotel room 😉

Poured down all night. But a great gig.
February 3, 2025 at 10:39 PM
Fantastic night wasn’t it? Apart from the weather as I recall
February 3, 2025 at 10:32 PM
Didn’t he just? Amazed me every time that trio played Sebastian. Sounded like a full orchestra
February 3, 2025 at 10:31 PM
Last time we saw him. Just after lockdown in some country park in Lancashire
February 3, 2025 at 10:07 PM
Doesn’t he just. Went to the gig in Birmingham where he did the whole of Human Menagerie and Psychomodo backed by the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. That was something else.
February 3, 2025 at 10:05 PM
It was Judy Teen for me and Human Menagerie got me hooked. Still know every word to every song on that Album. Saw him a lot of times as well over the years and never disappointed. Felt like losing a friend when he died tbh

I’m not surprised. Fair play to whoever started that one off
February 3, 2025 at 9:26 PM
Great tune. Great album
February 3, 2025 at 9:22 PM
Funny that. Question in my head is will he ever wear that again?
February 3, 2025 at 8:03 PM
Oh yes. And peak 70s tartan trim on the other guy.
February 3, 2025 at 6:27 PM
Either likely to incapacitate him for a good while which would be just the job.
February 3, 2025 at 6:26 PM
We’ll be back.

Nice one. Had some great pub crawls on the Welly Road when I lived down there. Pickering Phipps down to the Spread Eagle. Good memories
February 2, 2025 at 9:18 PM
I used to frequent a pub on the Welly Road in Northampton called the Pickering Phipps
