The 2025 OpenMinds NextGen Leaders completed their bootcamp last weekend. From touring the Newtown Creek Renewable Energy Project to engaging with a broad range of OpenMinds experts, the class left inspired to tackle the Dual Challenge—together.

This week, at Cape Station, we saw the world’s largest enhanced geothermal energy project.

Congrats to Fervo Energy for producing flexible, firm, carbon-free energy. Each step is going deeper (15,000 ft!) and driving greater efficiency, affordability, and abundance.

OpenMinds 2025 brought together 150+ energy and climate experts to share cutting-edge approaches to accelerate OpenMinds Impact Projects and high-potential Dual Challenge solutions.
