it is such a bizarre marriage of really cool upgrades from Doom 2 on a technical level... and weird workarounds due to limitations.

TBH mapping for Doom is pretty much defined by working around engine jank, so... yeah, that checks out I guess lol.

I think you also have to put it in the Doom 3 phobos folder aswell

I used an Autoexec.cfg, which just goes in the base folder and D3XP folder and that did the trick as opposed to the standard config folder, which doesn't work for some reason
