I’m just Sweetness and Light (yeah, right). Now my hair is white and I’m becoming an old crone. Jackal.
Monsters.

I was told in History class that he didn’t marry her, but research can change what we think we know, so this is news to me.

But how dumb is this bimbo, really? To be wondering what Hitler's imaginary wife would be like.

He didn't have a wife. He never married Eva Braun.

That's an impressive list, Betty.

skunks
opossums
raccoons
bobcat
mountain lion(aka puma or cougar)

I could go on: roadrunner, coyote, bear, buffalo (bison), elk, deer (oh, so many deer), rabbit, and I'll stop right there.

An off-duty nurse saw me trip & helped my DH to figure out how bad it was. They kept trying to get me to stand up. I couldn't. She called the ambulance, they had trouble finding us, so the cops came & told them they were on the wrong side of the divided road. Huge garden area in the middle.

It was outstanding, everyone was good to us. All of the x-rays, casts, & everything else came to about $530 USD because we weren't citizens. In Anaheim we paid about $8 a year optional on our property taxes for ambulance service. I did get to ride in an ambulance!

I thought so too, but he was exhausted having pushed me uphill every direction we went, and just wanted to go back to the hotel for a nap.

There's a little sign that says there are more than 5275 pipes! We gave a donation of Kronas for the maintenance.

Correction, it plays fine now. I guess it was still loading when I tried last night.

Part of my family thinks a green jello "salad" counts as a green salad. She makes waaay too much food every year. I hope she has someone nice to spend turkey day with because I don't think she's going to show up today because flying right now is fraught with fraughtness.

You're not. A well-loved cousin that I didn't know existed until our grandma's funeral, has been blocked on Fb since the 2016 campaigns because he called my niece stupid for supporting Hillary. And we did love him, the kind of guy who would do anything for you, but he's dead to us all now.

Brussels was a quirky place. We didn’t see half of the cool stuff we wanted to visit. I felt crummy for a couple of days, but when they found us a wheelchair I was feeling better. I sent my DH out by himself to explore while I was lying around. People were very nice everywhere.

He’s my rock. We went to Avignon for a couple of days and took a tour around the area. Saw the Pont du Gard aqueduct, built by the Romans with no mortar. It’s massive!
They took us to see the little bridge that Van Gogh painted. The other stops were fun but no biggie.

Harpa is an exhibition hall and a concert hall. There is a restaurant on a higher floor, and a lava show in the basement. My DH didn’t want to go to that, he was tired. They play with molten lava during the show.

And I can’t get it to play for me. Drat.
Iceland is pretty expensive. We ate at a table next to a couple from Australia and they were having fits over the prices. The food was good but, wow. The cheapest was a Thai restaurant and it was great.

Just don’t break an ankle before you get there because it’s a great walking city but not much fun in a wheelchair. And watch out for cobblestones. That’s what got me in Brussels.
This was a rehearsal for a choir concert.

Inside Hallsgrimkirkja, the big church at one end of Reykjavik
November 27, 2025 at 4:58 AM
We were only there for two days, and only saw Reykjavik. The Golden Circle tours were not wheelchair accessible. But we visited the amazing church and the Harpa community center.

I’m in love with making these toys.
Next I found the Apple Blossom Wood designs by Claire Bowman. The bear, Bertie, was dressed like Peaky Blinders, 1920s Manchester gang. The rest of the clothing was Regency. So I watched Master and Commander, sketched the midshipman coat, made a pattern.
