They yet exist in a cloud of basically competent people, and do not have to care if the public hates them. They live still in the wonderland of 2015. They are gonna find themselves suddenly in 2026 where everything is very fucked and they will probably be upset.

Presumably the existence of something good drew the Eye of Bezos, who loathed that it existed instead of something evil that made him money.

Mr Anthony Frasier Beast is not a man but the living avatar of the times. He is the crusing despair of the 20s, the dawning horror at our own power at the atomic bomb, he is greed and he is a clean, polished interface that makes you smile as you lose everything. Do not hate what we all have made.

I mean, as far as I can tell D1 got all the benefits and easy jobs. A lot of people probably want that back.

Ye. Sometimes you're done. Unless you gotta I recommend letting it ride. Don't try to force yourself, it'll come back when this season passes

Hella good video. This is a wild fumbling of the details in a story who's broad strokes should be impossible to mess up.

Wife, seductively: Ready for bed?

Me, my penis chittering like a rattle snake: Hell yea

Extremely bleak long term prospects for the Na'vi.

Yet another story where a noble pacifist breaks their vow and does the coolest shit you've ever seen.

This resource was valuable enough for a dying humanity to fight for it, to build avatars about it, to do big boy warcrimes about it. It might be worth firing a ship at that to hold onto until Aywa or it's masters need it.

Ultimately Aywa's values are inscrutable, and this answer is kind of the "ritual purposes" of this post. Maybe this is some ascended culture's idea of a material paradise.
3: Unobtanium resource control?

2: Religious/cultural reasons. The Na'vi are deeply religious, not merely surviving but being a part of and I suspect maintaining biosphere stasis (in ways they are and are not aware of). Aywa clearly wants this of them, either for its own sake or as a means of control for more complex minds. 5

But they're only capable of defensive war, they have no ability to go do space colonialism. They might have a bioship like the tyranids but I've never seen it. And since there's not a lot of benefit to being the best at war when you've got no one to fight I don't think that's their purpose. 4

Some force, presumably Aywa (whatever it is or represents) seems able to do whatever it wants with the biosphere. This raises the question of why and I can come up with 3 reasons.
1: War. The Na'vi are slapping human gunships with pointy sticks and birds, they're crazy good at war 3
December 3, 2025 at 3:13 PM
The water Na'vi are very biologically different from the forest Na'vi, which would be fine if they were isolated but they're not. Jake and the fam get there in a few days, they should be interbred to a species average. The science lady avatar in the tank is immaculate concepted. 2
