Mr. Crockett, I enjoyed your comments, and the Cowboy comments bothered me. My ancestors were Texas cowboys so I looked into it. There’s a story in Smithsonian Magazine, books and displays in several museums around the country including TX. They were hired in the 1860’s following the Civil War.

Does Mr Schiff believe ICE will be in tact under the DHS for the mid-terms? Not only should ICE not be at polling places in ‘26, it should be dismantled and defunded now. No more attacking, disappearing, injuring of citizens, property and killing. Investigate and prosecute them, top to bottom.

The deaths of this loving caregiver father and son is among the most vile treatment of innocent human beings. Unforgivable. Congress must defund/abolish ICE, fire Miller and all co-conspirators, release the illegally detained and appoint a committee to investigate illegal acts. Text/call your reps.

I grew up with a father who used to call politicians “that lyin’ cheatin’ bunch. He didn’t live long enough to experience this intellectually and emotionally vacant cabinet. A cast of clowns from top to bottom.

Members of the administration and elected officials must dismantle ICE. Innocent people have been beat, arrested and died in ICE custody or killed in cold blood. We want our country back. And if you can’t manage that, resign or risk being fired or voted out.

I don’t want them trained in anything. I believeI ICE should be disbanded from top to bottom. I don’t see an America where citizens will welcome ICE into their communities.

My parents drove frequently from Southern Cal to Solvang for a weekend of split pea soup and sightseeing. My grandfather and son served in wars and they would be embarrassed by some of our uniformed elected officials. I thank generations of your citizens for their selfless gestures over generations.

Nothing you say he did matters to me. What matters is what millions around the world saw. A man was murdered in the United States of America while trying to protect women from ICE thugs. Go pedal your story somewhere else.

Even if that story was true, it has nothing to do with the fact that a female bystander and Mr. Pretti were sprayed with irritants. He put his body between her and ICE. More ICE thugs showed up, pummeled Mr. Pretti and minutes later assassinated him. What a lazy attempt at sensationalism.

Mr and Mrs Pretti, please accept my deepest condolences. Your son is a hero. He showed us when he acted to protect women from harm and in the video honoring a deceased veteran with grace and a final goodbye. He is the best of us. I hope you feel the embrace from across the country and world.

The only action items on your list, Mr. Booker, and on the list of every democratic and republican representative should be to disband, abolish ICE and return the money to programs helping our citizens.
