Ours is also BYL related, my son and I are on week 6 (of 8) of BYL’s Darwin and Evolution unit and it is fantastic! Even if you don’t do it, you should look into reading The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate as is it so much fun, provides lots of opportunity for discussion and vocab work.

History and science for the most part, although he’s liking math a LOT more now that we switched to Math With Confidence. He also loves read-alouds.

Yes, we did BYL 1 with History Quest as well as Torchlight with Curiosity Chronicles. Then as a review at the end of the year (actually it took us 1 1/2 years) we spent a week listening to SOTW while we did the CC lap books. Ancient history is so much fun!

Mostly, I am just loving that we have found our groove again after the holidays.

As to subjects, we are loving BYL’s Darwin and Evolution unit study. My 11-year/old son and I are loving all the books, especially The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate!
